Invite a partner, a co-parent or a child so they can use Chore Boss on their own phone.
Each invite is for one member of your home, so the person who joins sees the chores and rewards of that member.
Before you start
- You need to be signed in.
If you are not, tap Settings at the bottom of the screen and tap Sign In.
- The person you invite needs the Chore Boss app on their phone.
- Inviting people is free.
If you have premium, the people you invite get it too.

Step 1: Share the invite
- Tap + at the bottom of the screen, then tap Invite Family.
You can also tap Invite Family at the top of Settings.
- Tap Invite next to the person.
If they don't have a profile in your home yet, tap Someone new, enter their Name and options (such as Household Manager for another parent or Limit Access for a child), and tap Save.
- Choose how to send the invite:
- Via QR Code: ask the other person to scan the QR code on your screen with their phone.
- Via Text, Email or WhatsApp: tap Share and send them the link.
The member selected on your own phone isn't listed, since that's you.
You can also tap Share Invite Code on a member's card in Settings, My Homes, then the home.
Step 2: The other person joins
On their phone, the other person opens Chore Boss, taps Settings, then Join a Home, and scans your QR code or pastes your link.

Once they join, any change one of you makes syncs to everyone in the home.
Troubleshooting
- The QR code keeps loading: the invite is made online, so check your internet connection, then go back and tap Invite again.
- I don't see Invite Family: the member selected on this phone has Limit Access.
Switch to a parent's profile from the name at the top of the Home tab.
