When a child marks a task as done but it wasn't actually completed, a Household Manager can reverse it.
Permissions
Only Household Managers can flag tasks. The flag icon is not visible to other family members.
How to Flag a Task
Navigate to the chore tasks screen via either path:
- Rewards tab > tap child > tap an earned reward in Recent Earnings
- Progress tab > tap a member > tap any timeline entry
Then:
- Tap the orange flag icon next to a completed task
Select a reason:
- Task was not actually completed
- Task was not done properly
- Task was completed by someone else
Optionally add a note
Tap Flag as Incomplete
What Happens
- The task is unchecked and the associated reward is recalculated automatically
- The flag syncs across all family devices
- The child sees the flag reason and optional note in their chore activity timeline
- A push notification is sent to family members (e.g., "Name flagged
Task as incomplete")
